Is that a fart in the middle of this Yaakov Shweky song?

Skip to 2:50 to hear the fart. I had it confirmed by a sound man in the industry and he says it is in fact a fart.

  1. From a theological and philosophical perspective, considering the context in which the aforementioned “event” took place I would say that it’s quite appropriate.Perhaps said “event” is its initiators way of showing disdain for those that try to bring about our destruction.
Just trying to find some redeeming factor in this situation.Us frummies would call it being dan L’kaf zchus.

  2. If there’s a fart then you can listen to it on sefirah. Though some say you are only allowed to listen to the fart-only medelies that Reb Howard Stern popularized.

    1. Reb Stern popularized Chariots of Farts, but the fart-version of the classic niggun was created by and should always be attributed to Rav Richard Christy, when he was shteiging all day in a Florida storage unit. The piece was one of the reasons R’Stern allowed R’Christy to teach torah with him and RabbaBooey.

  3. The fart wasn’t at the actual concert. You can insert a fart sound into any copyrighted work and it becomes a parody, which makes it legal to upload.

  4. I have listened to this version of the song probably hundreds of times and no matter how many times I watch and remind myself its coming it still ruins the song! Someone needs to upload a normal version of this song but I must admit it was funny the first few times.

  5. Is it just me, or is that fart sound timed perfectly with the violin guy adjusting himself in his seat?

  6. Bob, its totally that guy. He leans forward to release the gas. I do it all the time at the Shabbos table. 🙂 My family is always enchanted. Hey that cholent is the culprit not my dainty bowels.
