I would go on a gay flight just for the experience, its bound to beat the traditional 6am shachris in which your woken up because talesim are flying around and you can’t sleep through the tefillin boxes knocking from opening. Gay flights are bound to take the mile high club to a new level, because being gay in an airplane bathroom just doesn’t seem too fun.
Either way I can gauruntee you that some groups will boycott this newest marketing tactic, if they don’t want them flying on shabbos they sure as hell don’t want Elal to have same sex flights although I have mu suspicions that this could be good for frum men who wish to take all male flights to Israel.
I can imagine frum men hijaking these flights to the point that they become same sex straight flights, I can only imagine some gay dudes getting on a Charedi flight and thinking they got on the Bear Flight when they Requested the Femme Flight.
I am also sure that we are to see some good riots when this thing becomes more public because everyone loves to riot when things like this happen – because its an abomination right?

There is one advantage to having a gay minyan; no mechitzah unless if it comes to a point when men/women need to be separated from each other because the same sexual tension is too overwhelming. Same applies for same sex single events and other similar gatherings.

I am gay and not surprised by this marketing tactic. It happens all the time with our community, becuase of the disposable income we have.
That said, the flights will be mostly boring; just another way to find a nice Jewish boy to marry.

Where do you find this type of info? This story doesn’t sound very true.
Can you imagine any airline offering gay flights? What are the implications? Do they run the travellers through the gadar before letting them onboard? Will they have same gender attendants frisking them for “concealed weapons”? Will they allow any naughty stuff to go on once in flight?
Flip the coin to the regular hetero flights. Will they now ban gays an force them onto different flights. Will they start allow people to make babies while the seatbelt sign is off?

An all-male gay ELAL flight to Israel would probably be a chartered service marketed to European gays. Happens in the States as part of gay cruise packages, etc. Tel Aviv is becoming a prime gay destination (as is Beirut) in the area. I am sure the flight attendants will be happy to put in for this route – no crying babies, rebbes and talmidim, giant hat boxes to store. And as many male FAs are gay anyway, the more the merrier.
But it would be nice if they still had a minyan for Shacharis for those who want. There are some major shuls in NYC with at least 10 gay congregants on a typical Shabbos, and they go to Israel as much as any other Jews do.
