Israel has the most powerful toilets

israel-toiletsWomen probably have to deal with this more, but in the cramped bathrooms of Israel I noticed something disturbing, the toilets shoot back at you, I can imagine how that makes someone on one of those sensor toilets feel after they shifted their weight and the toilet flushed with them on it.

Seriously the engineers in Israel have not figured out how to make smooth flushing toilets. What’s the deal with the shaking and trembling, if the toilet trying to shake the contents out so that the half flusher feature can do anything?

On a side note the toilets in Washington Heights are the loudest and most efficient flushers I have ever witnessed.

  1. It probably has to do with the amount of water the toilet uses. In Israel, they have a thing about using the least amount of water possible. So maybe the toilet flushes with more pressure, and more splashing.
In Washington Heights, the toilets are old toilets in old buildings that use tons of water per flush. So the water shoots out and runs and runs and everything goes down.

  2. Israeli toilets are tougher so that in case of an emergency they can be torn from the floor and used as fire extinguishers.
They do have a pretty potent rumbling thing going on, perhaps because the Israeli maintenance system simply does not think it is that important to have smoothly-run toilets.
    Shop for an explanation.
