I dont think thats an ad. Its an image that the Yated put in the paper to accompany an article about Microsoft Word, which is even worse because they went out and used the innerwebz to find that.
Good spot P/Jew – it appears several times on a Google Images search for “Microsoft Word”. Not very smart of them.

of course the image is a spoof, what he meant was the yated piece isnt they accidently took the spoofed version to accompony the article about microsoft word. The article is real and the image really appeared in the yated. When you abandoned eden did you leave your brain there?

Dude it’s kind of obvious it’s a spoof – Microsoft is one of the largest companies and they are from a place where political correctness reigns king.

Notice the box says “Version 2002”. I don’t even think that is a real version of Word.

I don’t think the issue is that there’s a swear word in the picture. It’s just funny how a paper written and read by people with a very minimal knowledge of pop culture would have such a title picture.

For the first time since I started reading FS, I am stumped. I know that the photograph is a spoof (I’ve carried it around on my PDA for years), but is this a photoshop job that was done on the Yated which just looks funny, or did they ACTUALLY run that picture in their paper?

forget about the hebrew version of the yated, i have seen a cartoon in the english version where the word shit was clearly visible. that’s what happens when you have a newspaper which is entirely cut and pasted from other places, with nobody actually checking what they’re doing.

I don’t think it was really printed in there. Look at the border around the word box. It’s white. A paper wouldn’t pay to have a white border around something like that. That would also be how it would appear if you copied the picture off the net and pasted it.
