There were dozens of great pictures from the rallies protesting the IDF draft, here are a few of them.
If we teach our kinder the way of Hashem, maybe they can make a kiddush hashem in prison and make tatty proud.

Apparently charedim are not prophets or angels and actually need to use the bathroom just like the rest of us. They also need to wait on long lines, but I wonder if they find it as hard to aim as the goyim do.
The fellow who took this picture let me know that the trains on the way to the rally in fact mixed. Not only did they not segregate the men and women, but there was a lot of “accidental” rubbing, bumping, and hand brushing. I wonder how the lone woman in this picture felt about that. (I assume that wasn’t a smart phone in his pocket and he was in fact “happy to see me” since we don’t hold of smart phones – random frum woman stuck on a train with hundreds of charedi men)
Some folks told me that they put on their former Charedi gear just to see some action. Unfortunately, the American Charedim have once again proved that they don’t really know how to have a rally. Not one dumpster was burned, not one woman was beat up, and not one stone was thrown. In Israel, the Charedim would have pre-gamed by setting that poster on fire and beating up some cops.
Such a show of achdus we have not seen in dozens of years. There were potchke beibers, streimlach, spudicks, and I even heard there were a few bend down hats there.
Whoever claims the Charedim are lazy good for nothings is wrong, they may be a big part of the welfare state, but it’s not because they are lazy. It’s because they spend way too much time going to prayer rallies and making costumes for them

Simply subdivide the Charedim into their own undeveloped area of Israel, remove the IDF, stop funding them, provide no social services and no handouts, and let them govern themselves. It’s a Win-Win.
Also no roads, no water, no power…
If Torah study really is all-powerful they should do fine.
lmao that would be an amazing experiment.
I was debating or not whether to answer thiscomment because I did not know(and I still don’t know) if this was a joke. Just in case:
Yes, God is all giving, but for some reason, he wants us to ask before he just gives. This being said, we need a physical source of sustenance. Here, the government of israel provides this. I know this doesn’t answer much, but I’m typing on a phone now.
My idea is to actually send every chareidi to jail. Once there, the government will have to feed its prisoners and end up unknowingly setting up “jail yeshivas.”
Israel’s plan = FAIL
Lmao though a yeshiva jail system would please both the secularists who would not have to look at the misearble penguins on the streets living a parasites lifestyle, and the frummies would love the isolation and hand outs of a jail.
What do mean Purim never happened?
I mean it never happened. Read a history book and not a fairy tale written by rabbis for the sake of cultural and moral preservation.
“Yes” one needs to ask for it and “yes” we need a physical source of sustenance.
“No” we do not look down on the people who do the physical work. “No” we do not look down on the country we live in. “Yes” they do need to do their physical jobs too.
chareidi plan = fail.
While I don’t question the dysfunction of the Ultra-Orthodox lifestyle, I do question the assertion that only government can do those things.
All joking aside – That’s honestly the best idea I’ve heard in a while.
It’s called The Negev Desert
Honestly, these pics just make me feel bad for those people.
They make me feel worse for Israel which is being destroyed by them financially, politically, militarily and socially.
Firstly, this is a topic which people usually stay stubborn to their beliefs, no matter what. With that said:
1)I think the word destroying financially is a bit much. You need numbers and percentage of budget to back your statement if you use a word like that.
2)Politically?!?! Really?!??! Every week I get the yediot and I laugh at the politics there. 99% of political destruction in israel is greed of some sort by mostly secular politicians.
3)militarily: it is true that chareidim can do more in this sector to help the many drug addled soldiers already there. Yet firstly israel has NO money whatsoever at this point to fund more soldiers; let alone chareidi. Also, this was actually tried with the nachal chareidi which turned out to be a trap for true chareidim. I have friends there who came out either less from or not at all. People there don’t usually get more from or stay their level. (I live in NY btw, if that matters.)
4) socially: chareidim want to be left alone. The only real social problems are started from extremists just like many problems from the secular groups are from extremists (women walking into mean shearim just to piss people off)
Let them take up a Amish self-sufficiency lifestyle.
lol great idea. That would be hilarious
Haredi just look evil.
If you have nothing useful to say, shut up
Chareidim are growing very rapidly, their numbers in the IDF are also increasing but at a much slower pace.
What Israeli politicians don’t want to see, is a future where a big chunk of the population doesn’t contribute to manpower needs. This will leave the full burden on other smaller denominations.
Such a thing can’t be allowed to happen, since it will endanger and strain the whole security apparatus. An army needs to reflect its citizens in size and in style.
By the way, you same to be misguided concerning nachal charedi, research them more, because I’ve only seen success stories there.
Regarding the money aspect, you should know that the Israeli government is far from poor, very far. If they see the idea of integrating charedim in the army/workforce as highly important -which they do, they’ll find enough cash.
There are a number of theological issues over the controversy that seem to get buried in the different political stances. One is not permitted to be a public burden intentionally. Even if the others could afford to provide basic needs through public taxation, that does not mean it should be done, not in Mea Shearim and not in Kiryas Joel. The Rabbis of Talmud were either wealthy like Rabbi Tarfon or they had jobs like Shmuel the Sandler. Or later Rashi the vintner or Dr. Rambam. Effort at study is not a surrogate for work.
We read about the half-shekel, an equitable census for equitable military obligation. Equitable military service for defense or even conquest seems D’Oreita and hard to escape while claiming adherence to Torah.
As for corruption and criminal activity, the Haredim contribute little to serious mayhem beyond the tossing of rocks by the youth of New Square onto the cars driving along the more secular Rt 45 of the Spring Valley of my youth. While the Otisville Minyan seems pretty secure in keeping its population above ten, it is a miniscule segment of the Bureau of Prison’s concerns. That said, as the director of my shul’s continuing ed program the last several years, I’ve always wanted to include a class in Frum Misconduct in the annual program but have met resistance from anyone who I think would be a suitable teacher, whether a Rav or a victim.
The Rebbe writes how Tzniyus effects generations to come, health, and in that Zechus will bring the Geula! Let’s all search our closets and find even one thing that we wouldn’t wear to greet Moshiach – and take out. If there are more – take those out too! Golus is just not a place to live – We must live conciously to greet Moshiach now!
And this is relevant to Charedi unemployment and lifetime dependency how, Milhouse?
We don’t need soldiers to fight, Tzniyus alone is our army, Tzniyus will fight!
Since when is clothes protection from a bullet? I’ll wait for this reply.
Only when its made for military/police use!!! Couldn’t resist lol
Just keep saying random sh-t because you have no relevant answers.
Attack on Freedom of Religion poster caught my attention. I think they may have rented them from the Women of the Wall or the Masortis.
Two of the pictures are not from this event, there were no signs . Why are you intentionally mixing up two separate events just for some cheap laughs
Hey, take it up with the New York Times and Huff Post…if they were lying it’s not my fault. Why are you not giving a fellow Jew the benefit of the doubt and embarrassing him publicly? It is you who will burn in the fiery depths of gehennom for your tactless sinning. Go make a cheshbon hanefesh and get back to me.
“When there is an outcry and a protest outside their country, to the point that the non-Jews hear that there are among the Jewish people keepers of the Torah…it embarrasses [the Zionists].”-The Satmar Rebbe in Vayoel Moshe 113
Very nice, but you should realize that:
A. Nearly all zionists today aren’t embarrassed that there are jews who are keepers of the Torah.
B. Lots of zionists are keepers of the Torah.
C. Most secular zionists aren’t against the keeping of the Torah.
Have a nice day my friend.
A. Yes they are. They’re ashamed of it and hate it.
B. No, most Zionists don’t keep the Torah in anyway other than “ethical” laws.
C. Yes, most secular Zionists are.
A gitte tanis, a freiliche Pirim.
I don’t stand corrected. Vayifen koi v’koi vayar that all my points are most definitely the truth.
Git Shabbos and a freilichen Pirim to you too.
A big chunk of israel not even dati or chareidi is traditionally religious!
I don’t think that’s the best translation… I’m pretty sure it’s being ashamed, not being embarrassed. I haven’t learnt VaYoel Moishe myself, but I’m 100% sure that is a bad translation…
Whatever, I got it off of truetorahjews.org which is the word of G-d ie was on an approved list of websites that my Rav gave me.(list also included frumteens. >:3)
I used to go that website. They’re what got me off of Chabad actually. If you had the original, it might have a better translation. I’m gonna have to look for it now later….
Is this website also on the approved list?
I vote to make frumsatire assur because yidden who have fallen to the allure of the internet might be exposed to the heresies such as universe being more than 6,000 years old and the word “kippah.”
That sounds like instructions for chillal hashem!
Yeah, I frequent their new site, jewswithquestions.com
Instead of the Mod from frumteens, its Rabbi Yakov Shapiro shlit”a answering questions. Rabbi Shapiro also did a heart-wrenching video explaining why frum Jews are protesting the draft. You can find it on truetorahjews (which has Rabbi Shapiro’s haskamah)
You’re a moron. That also has the hashkama of several rabbis.
True Torah Jews is a website run by scum who support terrorism.
I’m linking an amusing article. The entire site is a spelling error (“Before it’s news”), and they write things like “numberous”. Then they cry about a secret Israeli cabal deleting their Neturei Karta article. No wonder it was deleted. The idiots writing it don’t even know basic spelling and grammar.
“Vatic Note: I first learned about the manipulation of wikipedia by Israeli Cyber Warriors on Veterans Today site, and so far they have been right about Wikipedia and this below confirms it. These two organizations have no connection or tie in, so this observation is from their personal experience. Veterans to day also did independant research confirming Israeli’s hand in manipulating wikipedia to favor the view of Zionism.
We have done numberous blogs on the real Torah Jews and how they are being vilified for things they have not done, rather are used by the Zionists khazars as cover for their dirty deeds. “
>hating on truetorahjews
Rasha confirmed. Good day sir.
You’re trolling, right? If not, you are a rasha and an evil person. If there is a hell, you will be confined to it.
“True torah jews” do not even believe in the basic tenets of the Torah and Judaism, that’s the irony.
Burn in hell, sir.
lolo whatever bro. Im going to go soak up sachar on TTJ.
