So I decided on a whim to venture down to LA for shabbos and I figured on doing a meetup because it’s too soon of a decision to do a show. After much fussing of where to meet, I have decided on Nagilla Pizza in the Pico Hood at 9pm this coming Saturday night January 29th. It would be cool to meet some of you LA fans and for you all to meet each other and all that jazz.
I should mention and will continue to do so that at 7pm this Saturday night – I will be doing a live broadcast with Luke Ford in which people can ask me questions live – just go to LukeFord.net for more information.
So watch the interview at 7pm and anyone who happens to be in LA should swing by Nagilla Pizza and hang. If you want to date me or know of someone I should go out with while I’m down there that wouldn’t hurt either, I need to find me a shidduch you know.

Heshy, I think it’s great you are coming to LA…but if I showed up, your fans would think “Who invited the Alter Kocker? ” My wife would probably clobber me but enjoy the pizza and atmosphere. Will you be having a Kipah signing?
If our daughter showed up and found you cute or interesting, you’d probably be a happy camper to meet her. Being tall would help your case. I think your sense of humor would certainly get you a first date….she likes people who can make her laugh. I know she loves REI camp gear sales more than me. Just curious, but how many attractive Chabad-loving Jewish women do you know that love backpacking and can free climb vertical rock walls? Looks like you’ll really be too busy rapping with your fans to find out. Maybe not. I guess that’s the Mogen David you have to bear for being a Hollywood-Pico Frum Star.

Heshy, as you are a Chulent affianado, rumor is that the Chabad of Chatsworth has the best Chulent in LA…..it’s made by the Rebbitzen who is from Venezuela and it’s interblended with Jalapenos and flanken and just is superb. Just in case you find your way to the West San Fernando Valley for the Shabbos service. Scotch and Vodka selection is pretty darn good (so what else is new about Chabad)! Shabbat Shalom!

Oh Heshy, no wonder there’s a shidduch crisis in your sphere. You chose the worst place to meet (it’s a pediatric madhouse) and the bright flourescently lit environment is totally unflattering. Not to mention the company that you’re going to keep on this videotaped experiment–the notorious LF–is someone women run–don’t walk–from. If you want to keep your good name, I beg you to chose another locale (how about the bar at La Seine?) and another interviewer/videographer.
Lastly, I’ll be at the Corey Helford Gallery that night on Washington Blvd., in Culver City at the same time (7-10 pm) where they’re having an incredible (free) opening/reception. You’ll mos def see some awesome people there!
