The following video has probably been seen by much of the frum world, someone tagged me in it last week and I shared it on my wall, the video was made by a girl who was not facebook friends with me and probably had no idea that anyone besides her limited amount of friends were watching it.
Most people, especially young frum girls, don’t really fool around with their Facebook privacy controls much. So I asked her if she could post it on you tube and she said she wasn’t so sure because it would make it hard for her to find a shidduch, during our email exchange, within 2 hours of posting it on my wall, I started receiving messages, emails and tweets for me to check out this facebook video. By the time it was posted on you tube, I’m sure that half the frum facebook world had already seen it, since her shidduch chances are probably already shot, she gave me permission to post it.
I am always surprised, when something that I post comes back to me, but still – there are probably some of you who aren’t on Facebook (I tend to get more comments on FB posts than on here – last week one update got 100 comments while the post here received 123) Anyway, I still like the video and maybe you will too.
That was funny. Well, Hesh, since you’ve destroyed this poor girl’s chances of ever getting a shidduch, I think you really have to marry her. It’s the right thing to do. Power has its price.

I’m writing from Israel and I have never been in Brooklyn, hardly in the US.
So I was very surprise by this girl accent. Doesn’t she speaks like blake mammas from the ghetto, like in those movies I saw? Or is it really the froum accent in NYC?
Considering she mentions her “shift at burger king” I’m pretty positive it’s a joke and she’s trying to imitate the black women that usually show up in interviews in news reports that are exactly like she’s acting. It’s pretty funny.

No, you’re missing the joke! Her name’s not Shanicotine. Nobody’s name is Shanicotine! It’s a satire of the African-American names you hear in big cities so often, as is her accent and word choice throughout the video. It’s a spoof. An extremely good one.
Maybe you you have to be from the right hood ,ya’ll because this Baltimore girl is pishing her pants laughing right now, this was too funny.
She sacrificed her future marital bliss for a good cause. It was great. 🙂

HOW is this chillul HaShem? HOW does this in any way relate to the sheitle couple from People’s Court? This girl isn’t trying to rip anyone off. She’s doing a funny satire, and making (what she had originally intended to be only for her friends, but got blown out of proportion thanks to Heshy and his “power”) people laugh. I’m pretty sure HaShem likes laughter. I’m pretty sure it’s a good thing.

Ok, so her name is Deena and she’s from Cleveland and she’s seriously awesome. She’s a good friend of mine. She’s hysterical, you guys have no clue. She’s seriously the funniest person I know plus she’s gorgeous, dresses really well, AND is smart. If she can’t find a shidduch, no one can.
