Susanne’s Blog has this post about her shull the Mt. Sinai Shull in Washington Heights- the up and coming singles scene for non-shallow, poorer versions of the Upper West Side folks. This shull was rated by me as the top shull for looking over the mechitza. And for having a great shalosh suedos. Apparently the older out of date president is stepped down in the summer to make way for a younger more vibrant- probably good looking to get peoples attention- president.
It has been suggested that they hold auditions American Idol style to see who will get the post- this is halarious and find myself wanting to stay in the heights just to check out the auditions and maybe see if I could go up and try it out- its a great way to meet the chicks you know. Read More….
Just a correction, this fellow is actually the shul’s ex-VP. He resigned in the summer. Now I’m in no way saying he wasn’t “idoled” out of that position as well.
OK it is corrected. The shull in Albany has a woman President by the way.
