The So-shul network

Mt Sinai is one of the most interesting shuls I’ve been to, besides for having loads of eligible young and cute ladies, their mechitza system forces you to stare at each other and the community is transient because the ultimate goal of the people who live there is to marry and move to Riverdale and eventually New Jersey. It;s a large vibrant shul without any hope to build a real community.

  1. Yeah, now I remember why I never went to YU…thank you for that validation, Heshy. Btw-did you say cute girls?! Buddy, the main actress is a one bagger (& that’s being generous), and the other one in the argyle may have decent size ta-ta’s, but that’s thanks to all those ‘cholent kiddushes’ that they alluded to in the film. I ain’t trying to be an ass, but you were the one calling them cute.

  2. Thanks, I think the word here should be “Saw You at Mt. Sinai.” I wish good marriages for all the single professionals in this video.

        1. some eruv is better than no eruv, I say. I need a community where I can carry my books around on Shabbat, and I’m not the type to leave my house keys under the welcome mat or on a “shabbos belt.”

  3. that has to be the most unattractive group of frum people I have seen. Not one single girl or guy for that matter could be considered attractive by any means – unless we are just talking about a lights off scenario, in which case who cares.

PS to ta tas, never wear argyle when you’ve got that kind of heft.

  4. Anyone else find the extreme humor in the evolution of responses, and how the woman in the argyle sweater now has the nickname ‘ta tas’. Maybe the next guy that dates her can throw us a shout out here on frum satire …”hey-I dated ta tas from the heights!”…now that’s braying rights.

    1. Why is “wow” automatically translated to mean “You guys are so not good looking”?

I’m just a bit taken aback at being exposed to so much Modern Orthodoxy all at once.

I mean it’s a shul, and it’s unmarried boys and girls are being encouraged to socialize. Nothing wrong, just never seen anything like it before.
Yes, I’m a sheltered yeshivish kid.
In my shul, the image we’re given is:
Boys and girls together = rejects of society.

I guess you learn new things every day.

    1. Hey wow- email me if u wanna see my pic. Btw- I body build for a hobby. Seriously. I’m a gym rat. U can gladly see my pic.
